1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Saving Grace AI, provided by Saving Grace Education Group (“Saving Grace”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can create an account
Saving Grace AI is intended for learners in Grades 1–12. Accounts must be registered by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 years of age or older (“Account Holder”). The Account Holder is responsible for supervising the learner’s use of the platform and for all activity under the account.
3. The service
Saving Grace AI provides AI-assisted homework help, CAPS-aligned test and exam preparation, and a conversational AI tutor (“Grace”). Grace is an AI system, not a qualified human teacher. While we design Grace to align with the CAPS curriculum and to explain concepts accurately, we cannot guarantee that every response is error-free or that use of the platform will result in any particular academic outcome, including exam results.
4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing
- New accounts receive a 3-day free trial. No payment card is required to start a trial.
- After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription (Homework Help, Choose Two, or Complete Package), billed monthly or annually via PayFast.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
- You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further payments will be taken.
- Prices are shown in South African Rand and may change from time to time; we will give notice before any change affecting an active subscription.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harasses, abuses, or harms another person.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security controls, or access accounts that are not your own.
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, or content containing another learner’s personal information without consent.
- Use automated means to scrape, copy, or resell the platform’s content or underlying technology.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
Saving Grace AI, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Saving Grace Education Group. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you. You retain ownership of the homework, questions, and other content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saving Grace Education Group disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
8. Changes to the service or these Terms
We may update these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue features of the platform from time to time. We will post updated Terms here with a new “Last updated” date, and will notify Account Holders of material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
