Which plan should you choose?
R275 · Homework HelpIf the problem is the 7pm hour
Nothing more complicated than that: the homework is out, your child is stuck, and you either don’t remember the method or the school teaches it differently now. Most Foundation and Intermediate Phase families start here.
R450 · Choose TwoIf marks are slipping and you don’t know where
The most common choice from Grade 8 upward. Test readiness plus the tutor works well, because diagnosis is only half of it — you need something to teach the gap once you find it.
R650 · Complete PackageMatric year, or more than one child
Everything switched on, across every subject. This is the plan for a matric year, and the one that makes the arithmetic work when two or three children are using the same account.

Saved when you pay annually
Where a human tutor is still worth the money.
We would rather say this plainly than have you find out after subscribing. A subscription platform is not the right answer in every case:
- A diagnosed learning difficulty that needs a specialist remedial teacher. That is a different profession and it is worth paying for.
- A learner who genuinely will not work without a person in the room. You know which yours is.
- Severe, entrenched gaps — several grades behind — where a structured remedial programme beats on-demand help.
Where a subscription does win is the ordinary case: a capable child who gets stuck on specific things at unpredictable times, across several subjects, more often than a weekly hour can absorb. That describes most families.
Try it before you pay a cent.
Every account starts with three days free and no card details. If it does not help your child, you simply do not continue.

Questions about billing.
Is there really no card needed for the trial?
Correct. Three days free on every account with no card details required up front, and nothing charged automatically at the end.
How much does a private tutor cost in South Africa?
Most private tutors charge R250 to R400 an hour. Qualified teachers taking FET-phase maths and physical sciences typically charge R350 to R500 or more.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly plans cancel any time through your account. Billing runs through PayFast.
What is the annual discount?
Annual billing saves you two months compared to paying monthly.
Can more than one child use an account?
Family options are worth checking with us directly before you subscribe, so we can point you at the plan that actually fits your household rather than the one that looks cheapest on the page.
Which subjects are included in the price?
The full CAPS subject load for the grade, not one subject at a time. You can see the breakdown on the features page, or read how a session runs on how it works.
